Was this just a promotional stunt? Did their sales dip because of the “No Smoking” ban in their stores?

Probably their sales had a significant decline after supporting the smoking ban. I personally am a forever Starbucks coffee drinker but when they started implementing the smoking ban in each store, I opted going to Seattle’s Best or Figaro instead. I think placing smoking tables and making sure that the tables’ location does not affect non-smokers is a good idea. I hope they can do that in all branches though.

I overheard (smoking) baristas outside one of their branches & they were talking about a ‘significant’ decrease in sales. And to think that was just 1 branch..

I’m a smoker & I love Starbucks. I stopped hanging out in SB but I couldn’t stop buying their coffee. I just have it to go & buy food/pastries in another coffee shop so we can smoke there.
