Friendship Sticker ba kamo?
Okay, Alabang Bulletin discovered something. Something that will probably get us into trouble with the Las Pinas City Hall. Hmm…but we’re here to deliver news and we have got news for you!
There are still Friendship Route (the 2007 version) stickers. Yes, in City Hall.
Don’t bother going to your friendly neighborhood “fixer” or “government employee” to get the stickers for some P500 to even P1,000 (man, shame on you!). Or to those kind-hearted residents who produce “surplus” stickers and sell them to you for P300. Remember, there’s an ordinance that calls for penalties for those caught having fake and/or laminated (c’mon! this is not fair!) stickers.
Oh, on a side note, we passed by T.S. Cruz Subdivision last night (after a very long time) and they now have a gate coming from BF Almanza. Talk about a double barrel of money making for the village. Now, you don’t just pay upon entering the Friendship Route from Las Pinas but you also have to pay when you want to exit (if the “receipt” of going in is not valid for going out)! Wise, wise, wise homeowner association officials.
Anyway, for those of you with new cars and without the Friendship stickers, you can get them at the Mayor’s Office at the Las Pinas City Hall. Yes, free of charge.
Just bring the following:
Original and photocopy of their car’s OR and CR
For registered owner’s whose address is outside LP:
original and photocopy of OR/CR, deed of sale, driver’s license, valid ID or proof of billing (power, telephone, water, etc.) showing holder’s address in Las Pinas
For mortgaged vehicles:
original and photocopy of OR, certification from the bank and valid ID showing holder’s address in Las Pinas
For company cars:
original and photocopy of OR, certification from the company and valid ID showing your Las Pinas address
It’s worth a shot! This news came from a VERY reliable source. Let’s just say my source was able to get a sticker recently.
For more information the residents can call the mayor’s office at 8717000 local 201 or 212.
Let’s not give those abusive guards and homeowner associations a chance to get money from us. Let’s put them out of their businesses.
Okay, now to wait for the Mayor’s Office’s call;p
