Water colour painting artist and guru, Eileen Bondoc Escueta, comes back from her almost a decade of hiatus with an art exhibition and a painting workshop at the lobby of the newest 3 Forty Residences located at 45 Indo-China Drive, Northgate, Filinvest City, Alabang. Since her last solo show, Eileen Bondoc Escueta is enthused to share “Living Colours” which will feature some of her latest art pieces known to have the vibrant hues of perhaps one of the most challenging, if not the most difficult painting medium.
The exhibition will open on November 7 and will run until the 22nd. Water colour painting enthusiasts who would like to learn the basic techniques that make Escueta’s work a standout may attend her workshop on Saturday, November 7, 9am-12nn and 2-5pm, or on Sunday, November 8, 2-5pm. Admission to all her workshops are free, open to 10 years old and above, courtesy of 3 Forty Three Residences. Interested parties may contact +63 917 820 5074.
In one of her interviews regarding her passion for the use of water colour, Eileen Bondoc Escueta shares that she “wants to show the wide range of what one can do with water colour, to explore its full potential as a art medium”. For more than a quarter of a century, she has been so much a part of the art scene. She sees art to be “something I will be involved in for the rest of my life.”
