At least 10 houses were destroyed while some P200,000 in property went up in smoke in a predawn fire that hit a residential area in Parañaque City Wednesday.

No one was initially reported injured in the fire at Barangay Santo Niño, radio dzBB’s Roland Bola reported.

The report said the fire started shortly after 3 a.m. and reached the second alarm.

An update by dzBB’s Mao dela Cruz said the fire was put out at 5:31 a.m.

Before the fire was put out, a part of the road in Sucat leading to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 was temporarily closed. — Joel Locsin /LBG, GMA News
