Operatives of the Paranaque police arrested two suspected members of an organized crime group engaged in carjacking and highway robbery on Tuesday morning.

Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesman Sr. Supt. Agrimero Cruz Jr. identified those arrested as Felimon Borillo and Jeffrey Martinez, who were suspected to be members of the so-called “Bundol Gang.”

The two yielded two shotguns during the arrest.

“They are now under custody, facing investigation,” said Cruz.

Cruz said the two were arrested after attempting to elude elements of the Paranaque City police mobile unit, aboard Mobile Car 323.

Reports showed the police operatives were patrolling along West Service Road in Sucat at around 7:40 a.m. when they spotted the suspects’ aboard a white Montero with licensed plate numbers NZI-671.

Upon seeing the PNP patrol car, Borillo and Martinez sped up, prompting the police operatives to chase them.

However, the speeding vehicle bumped into a lamp post that resulted in the suspects arrest.

Cruz said police operatives were still tracking down four other suspects who reportedly eluded arrest.

“They are believed to be members of ‘Bundol Gang’ responsible for several carnapping and hold up incidents at the vicinities of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and C-5 areas,” said Cruz.

Reports showed the Montero SUV used by the suspects was stolen last week.

Good job! Now we hope they pay for their crimes.
