Western Union branch in Paranaque robbed

MANILA — A security guard was shot dead as two unidentified men robbed a Western Union branch in San Isidro, Paranaque City.

The victim was identified as Felipe Montilla, who sustained a wound on his chest.

According to the Paranaque City Police, the robbers took the branch’s vault. However, the police said the vault was empty.

Authorities are still looking for the suspects as investigation of the incident continues. — with reports from Henry Atuelan, dzMM
