Top 9 Most Wanted, 45 others arrested in Munti

A week-long anti-criminality operation of Muntinlupa City Police Station (MCPS) led to dozens of arrest including the city’s Top 9 Most Wanted Person last week.

The crackdown campaign, dubbed as Simultaneous Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO), led to the arrest of 46 offenders and confiscation of drug paraphernalia, weapons, and ammunition.

Confiscated evidences include two caliber 38 revolver, one caliber 9mm arms pistol, one hand grenade, one 10-inch balisong knife, sets of live ammunition, and 38 heat-sealed plastic sachet with white substance suspected to be shabu.

MCPS chief PSSUPT Gerardo Umayao said the local police department conducted a series of operations on the implementation and service of warrant arrests, anti-illegal drugs and anti-illegal gambling operations on December 1-7.

Umayao added that the prime success of SACLEO was the apprehension of Top 9 Most Wanted (Q4) identified as Bobby Abillo, 37 y/o, residing at San Guillermo St., Brgy. Putatan for the crime of robbery. Abillo was detained at SIDMS Custodial Facility of Muntinlupa Police Station.

The local chief of police noted that MCPS will continue to track listed local Most Wanted Persons and ensure safety and security in the city.

Recently, the Department of Interior and Local Government confers a Top Local Peace and Order Council Award to Muntinlupa City. DILG-NCR adjudged Muntinlupa City as Rank 2 in the Regional Local Peace and Order Council Performance Audit 2017.

Muntinlupa Mayor Jaime Fresnedi expressed his utmost thanks to the agency for the citation and committed to continuously improve safety and security measures and programs in the city.
