We’ve been hearing it. Now it’s official.

Malacanang has declared today that Nov. 13 to 15, 2017 will be ruled as Special Non-Working Days in connection with the Philippines hosting the 31st Association of South East Asian Nations or ASEAN.

Under Proclamation No. 332, work and school in National Capital Region, Bulacan and Pampanga will be suspended.

This is due to the activities that will be held in connection with the Summit, the order declared.

What would be the payment treatment for the monthly-paid employees? Does special non-working day is equivalent to work suspension? It is quite confusing in our side. Thank you
