The hotel manager added that they decided to have the room checked after there was no response to several of their wake up calls for check out.

Upon opening the door, the supervisor then discovered the lifeless body of the victim who was lying on the bed.

In the death certificate provided to Alabang Bulletin, the cause of death was listed as “Acute Hemorrhagic Pancreatitis”.

Upon researching, it is usually caused by gallstones or alcohol abuse.

According to a Facebook post by a family member, JhayR has not returned to their house in Bacoor, Cavite.

Torres’ family is dumbfounded as to why JhayR left her in the hotel room and has been in hiding since.

Police have not ruled out foul play since the boyfriend has not contacted them or the family and is asking JhayR (or anyone who knows his whereabouts) to contact them so they will know what really happened.

We offer our condolences to Torres’ family and hope that they find out what really happened soon for their own peace of mind.
