Pacquiao stops Cotto in the 12th round
This was for all the marbles.
With millions of Filipinos praying for him and with a world record on the line, Manny Pacquiao once again showed that he is superior to any opponent by giving Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico a beating of a lifetime.
The pride of General Santos was simply too fast for Cotto.
“How can you hurt someone you can’t hit?”
One sportscaster was right. Pacquiao was just too quick. He ran circles around the now former champion and exhibited boxing skills that are not owned by many.
Oh, along with breaking a bit of sweat, he also broke a record by becoming a champion in seven different categories. Talk about making his mark in the sport of boxing.
We salute you, Manny! Mabuhay ka!
Pacquiao is a rare breed. one in a zillion if I may say. he’s an amazing athlete with uncanny ability to size up his opponents before tearing them apart in the end 🙂 Mabuhay Manny! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!
