Ospital ng Muntinlupa acquires four more dialysis machines

From manilastandardtoday.com:

Dr. Edwin Dimatatac, Ospital ng Muntinlupa director, said the local government has purchased four more dialysis machines to expand free services under PhilHealth.

The city piloted the Online Rapid Enrolment to enable non-PhilHealth member patients to be easily registered for coverage.

Under the healthcare program of Mayor Jaimer Fresnedi, the city government shoulders the membership premiums of members.

Last year, facilities and services at the city government-owned hospital was upgraded with a P5 million donation from the Department of Health.

Fresnedi received the grant from Health Undersecretary Teodoro Herbosa along with Dimatactac and former Customs head Ruffy Biazon.

The health advocacy is a priority of Fresnedi upon returning to office in 2010 to continue his programs which were interrupted in the previous administration.

“The fulfillment of this advocacy is through the link and cooperation with the national government in improving our services for the welfare of the public,” Fresnedi said.

According to Dimatactac, OsMun  is gearing up for its program to be a top-level health center and a  training institution. For more information on the dialysis service, visit OsmMun on Civic Drive, Filinvest, Alabang or call 771-0456 to 57.
