No foul play in couple’s death in Las Piñas parking lot

From gmanetwork.com:

Authorities said no foul play was found in the death of a couple found in a parking lot at a mall in Las Piñas City, a TV report said Friday.
According to the investigation of the city police, nobody else approached the couple’s car.
Autopsy results, meanwhile, showed no trace of physical force on the couple’s bodies.

The couple, identified as Jose Maria and Juliet Escano, stayed inside their AUV for almost five hours, having parked it at the Evia Mall in Daang Hari Road at around 2:40 p.m. last July 9.

Jose Maria was found unconscious outside the vehicle, while his wife Juliet was found inside the car in the same state.

A GMA News source revealed that the autopsy showed they suffered from internal bleeding due to ingestion of foreign chemical or harmful substance.

According to the police, there was no other case of food poisoning from the two establishments where the couple last purchased their food, the News TV Live report said.

It added that authorities are waiting for the results of the toxicology exam on the couple to confirm if they were victims of food poisoning. Rose-An Jessica Dioquino/RSJ/KBK, GMA News
