NBI Mobile Service in Parañaque to be held tomorrow (July 17)

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), in partnership with the Parañaque City Government under the leadership of Mayor Florencio Bernabe, Jr. will once again hold a mobile service for NBI clearance on Tuesday July 17, 2012 from 8:00AM to 5:00PM at the Executive Lounge located at the Second Floor of City Hall.

The activity is coordinated by the Parañaque City Tourism Office headed by Ms. Marilou Fontejon, the Special Services Office headed by Mr. Dean Calleja and office of Coun. Benjo Bernabe.  It is one of the City Government’s programs to bring more service closer to the people.  Just like its police counterpart, NBI clearance is one of the necessary requirements for employment and travel.

The scheduled NBI clearance mobile service in Parañaque will only accept 400 applicants on a First-Come, First-Served basis.  Applicants must be of legal age; must have at least one (1) valid ID and must bring P115.00 for the clearance fee.

Applicants are required to register at the Tourism Office, second floor of the Parañaque City Hall. Telephone inquiries may also be made with said office via hotlines 829-0691 and 478-8606.

“We are focusing our efforts bring more services closer to our constituents to save them time and effort in securing the necessary documents needed for certain requirements like employment or travel.  We are grateful to the NBI for once again holding the Mobile Clearance here in Parañaque,” Mayor Bernabe said.

Apart from the NBI Clearance, the Parañaque LGU also coordinates with the DFA in conducting and providing mobile passport services here in the city that will make it easier for residents to apply or renew their passports.
