The Department of Foreign Affairs-Officer of Consular Affairs (DFA-OCA) launched the Passport Tracking System (PTS) to provide updates to the public on the status of their passport applications.
To access the PTS, applicants can visit the DFA website and click on the PTS icon.
This leads to an online form that requires the following basic information:
■Full name (first, middle, last)
■Date of birth
■Cellphone number & e-mail address
■Date of filing
■Date of release
■For pick-up or courier service (name of courier)
After typing and encoding the information required, applicants will receive a response to their PTS queries through SMS message or e-mail within two working days upon receipt of their online request.
The PTS is a DFA-OCA initiative to enable applicants to be informed on the status of their passport applications, especially its schedule of release.
