Resurrection Church to celebrate Fiesta

The Resurrection of Our Lady Parish on Elsie Gaches Street, Barangay BF Homes, Paranaque City will hold its fiesta in honor of the risen Christ on April 24. Easter Sunday.

Benecer Lariosa Jr., Fiesta 2011 Committee chairman, said activities include the Salubong, Kapihan, 5km fun run, Amazing (g)race, Easter Egg hunt, and other children’s games, like free throwcontest, chess, badminton and English essay writing contest.

Lariosa added that a coffee table book and handbook, Journey in Faith, would be launched during the celebration at the parish church compound.

Advocacy booths and a tiangge will be set up by exhibitors.

Interested parties may call tel no. 842-5434. A high Mass, to be celebrated by Bishop Jesse Mercado, will be the highlight of the festivity.

A fellowship dinner will be held in the evening, Lariosa added.
