Number Coding along Commerce Ave. NOT happening on Feb. 15 — Muntinlupa City Hall

Nope. Not yet.

In a statement on Facebook, Muntinlupa City Deputy City Administrator said the proposed Number Coding along Commerce Ave. set to be implemented this coming Feb. 15 is not happening.

“Imposition of number coding scheme along Commerce Avenue will NOT take effect on 15 February,” announced city Deputy Administrator RJ Patdu Smith in a statement today.

According to Smith, the said Barangay Ayala Alabang ordinance requires approval from the city council.

“City Council has not approved this,” he added.

The ordinance (Please see old post by clicking) was borne out of the current traffic situation along the busy highway which the barangay officials thought could be improved with the Number Coding scheme.

The Deputy City Administrator also mentioned that Barangay Ayala Alabang is lacking logistical support in connection with the proposed traffic scheme.

In short, “wala silang panicket”, he added.

So let’s all stay tuned how this plays out.
