Las Pinas has the worst traffic among the 3 cities – Alabang Bulletin readers

And the winner is…Las Pinas!

Based on the “survey” we did here on Twitter and Facebook and with some 20 individuals responding, the hands down winner for the most traffic city in the south of Metro Manila is the City of Lanterns. More specifically, Alabang-Zapote Road.

Be it the “buhos” (counterflow system), the siga jeepney and bus drivers or the “ignorant” traffic enforcers, most of the respondents said that it is DEFINITELY Las Pinas City.

No, it’s not the National Road of Muntinlupa. And no, not Sucat Road of Paranaque (or President’s Ave.). It’s Las Pinas.

Calling on Mayor Nene Aguilar. The City of Lanterns can now be called the City of No Turns. Or U-Turns.

“Walang tatalo sa Las Pinas. Muntinlupa (Bayan), tolerable pa eh, moving. Ganun din sa Paranaque sa Bayan. Sa Las Pinas, 30 minutos ang batch ng buhos,” said Vlady de Ramos, adding that before it was Cainta but now it’s Las Pinas.

“Las Pinas syempre. Walang tatalo dito,” said Julius Dizon.

“Las Pinas! Parang kailangan na ng Skyway sa Alabang-Zapote Road,” said another reader from Twitter.

A lot also said that traffic has also been aggravated by the months-long diggings by Maynilad in Alabang-Zapote Road.

“Matapos hukayin, butas butas ulet. Resulta, trapik, baha. Las Pinas, tsk tsk tsk, papogi lagi,” said another reader from Twitter.

“Alabang-Zapote Road. An already congested road, no thanks to the Maynilad water construction project,” said another Twitter friend.

“When will it be traffic-free?” asked Bei.

Bei, we are also asking the same question. For more than 10 years now.
