Two of the suspects were identified as Arnel Cangque and Ricardo Orbina.

Senior Superintendent Conrado Capa, Muntinlupa City police chief, said the Orbina was a notorious carjacking group leader.

Capa said that the National Capital Region Police Office’s Anti-Carnapping Unit setup an entrapment against the group at the Alabang Town Center, but the group sensed that they were dealing with lawmen.
