680 families from Silverio Compound to have houses soon – Mayor Bernabe

We asked updates from Paranaque Mayor Jun Bernabe’s office a day after the demolition in the Silverio Compound and the mayor told us that he had met with National Housing Authority general manager Chito Cruz last week.

In the meeting, Cruz said that the NHA board of directors had initially approved for the construction of medium rise buildings that can house around 680 families.

“That’s 11 five-storey buildings!” exclaimed the mayor, although they did not give the exact location where these buildings will be constructed on and when the buildings will be available for the families.

We will update this entry as soon as we get more information from the public information office of Paranaque.
