The National Capital Region Police Office Regional Director, PDIR GUILLERMO LORENZO T ELEAZAR lauded the relentless efforts of the operatives of the NCRPO-Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU) that resulted to the arrest of two (2) pushers in Las Piñas and confiscation of One Million and Fourty Thousand Pesos (Php. 1,040,000.00) worth of shabu.
Arrested suspects were identified as JOHN LOMOTAN y Yulo @ JOHN, 39 years old (Jan. 12, 1979), married, POB: Quezon City, B.S. Architect graduate, Businessman and a resident of #4 Sison St., BF Resort Village, Talon 2, Las Piñas City and RANNY SINGCOY y GENITA @ RANNY, 32 years old (Sept. 4, 1998), single (with live-in-partner), EA: 1st Year High School, self employed and a resident of Sto Niño St., Moonwalk Compound, Talon 5, Las Piñas City.
Investigation disclosed that joint elements of RDEU NCRPO, Las Piñas City PS 4, in coordination with PDEA NCR Regional Office conducted buy-bust operation on or about 5:30 AM of October 5, 2018 at Rodriguez St. corner Alabang Zapote Road, beside Alabang Medical Clinic, Talon 1, Las Piñas City which resulted to the arrest of LOMOTAN and SINGCOY.
Accordingly, the above-named suspects appeared at the aforementioned place on board of a Bluish Gray Honda Civic with plate number ZGK-198, owned and driven by Lomotan. There and then, a drug transaction transpired wherein the undercover agent managed to purchase worth Two-hundred Ten Thousand Pesos of suspected “shabu” from the suspects place in three (3) pieces of medium heat-sealed transparent plastic bag containing more or less fifty (50) grams each bag of white crystalline substance suspected to be “shabu”, using buy-bust money; one (1) genuine 1,000-peso bill and two-hundred-nine (209) pcs of 1,000-peso bill bogus money. Upon consummation of the transaction, the undercover agent immediately gave the pre-arranged signal to the other operatives which resulted in the immediate arrest of the suspects.
During the arrest, another one (1) piece small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing of more or less two (2) grams of white crystalline substance suspected to be “shabu” was seized from the possession and control of suspect Lomotan together with the buy-bust money. The operatives further recovered four (4) pieces of broken improvised water pipe, one (1) weighing scale and five (5) bundles of small transparent plastic sachets kept inside the small compartment (center) of suspect’s vehicle. Further, the operatives have confiscated the two cellular phone of the above-named suspects; an i-phone and cherry mobile, respectively.
A total of more or less One Hundred Fifty Two (152) grams of suspected “Shabu” with street value of One Million and Fourty Thousand Pesos (Php. 1,040,000.00) has been confiscated in the said operation.
The arrested suspects and the seized pieces of evidence were immediately brought to the NCRPO-RDEU office for investigation and proper disposition for submission to the Crime Laboratory Office for technical examination (drug testing of the arrested suspects and qualitative examination on suspected “shabu” and forensic examination on the cellular phones).
