P’que scholars graduate on top of class

10 Parañaque scholars graduated from college on April this year, three of them with top honors.
     

Erika David who finished a course leading to the degree of A.B. Journalism at the University of Sto. Tomas graduated Cum Laude as did Mark Angelo Potente who got a bachelor’s degree in B.S.B.A. Marketing Management from the Centro Escolar University-Makati and Mary Knoll San Pedro who earned her baccalaureate in B.S. Psychology with Special Degree in Pre-School Education from the Philippine Normal University.
     

The other beneficiaries of the Parañaque Mayor Florencio M. Bernabe, Jr. Scholarship Program who graduated last semester are Estel Paola Morales (B.S. Nursing/FEU); Sermart Tiongo (B.S. Information Technology/PUP-Taguig); Paulo Espectacion (B.S. Nursing/UCN); Hannah Forteza (B.S. Nursing/PLP), Bernadette Aubrey Desabelle Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Manila (B.B.R.C. Broadcast Communication/PUP-Manila); Mela Jane Relucio (B.S. in Accountancy/UM); and Riza Lawrence Hugo (B.S. Nursing/PHU-Las Piñas).
      

The Parañaque scholars and their parents thanked the city administration for seeing them through to college. They also expressed their appreciation to Coun. Benjo Bernabe who served as big bother and adviser.
    

“I exhort our students to follow the example set by the Parañaque scholars in putting education as a priority in their lives. Doing this, they can look forward to a better future, better lives for themselves and their families. We will then expect that upon their graduation, they too will contribute to the development of the city and country.” Mayor Jun Bernabe said.
