An Alabang Bulletin reader last week told us that he and a friend was recently mugged after passing through the area by foot sometime around after 6pm.
They were discreetly approached by a bystander, asked for their money and possessions and were also threatened by a knife.
He lost some P15,000 in cash and other possessions like cellphone and watches.
“I didn’t want to fight anymore because he had a knife and I didn’t want to get stabbed just for money and my stuff,” said the Las Pinas resident.
He also didn’t bother to report the crime to the police because he was afraid that he would be identified by the criminals since he regularly passes the area.
Alabang Bulletin is not familiar with the area and does not know if South Station is a well-lighted or if it has a police station nearby.
If is not well-lighted, maybe it should be well-lighted and if it does not have a police station nearby, maybe police visibility can help.
