As part of its effort to provide residents access to better health services, the Parañaque City Government under the leadership of Mayor Florencio Bernabe, Jr. has partnered with ACEBEDO Optical for the staging of the third of a series “Oplan Silip-Mata” which was recently held at the Taxpayers’ Lounge of the Parañaque City Hall.
Organized by the City Health Office headed by Dr. Olga Virtusio, the activity was coordinated by Parañaque Medical Officer V Dr. Rudy Sabio.
The said optical company uses a modern computerized machine called Auto Refracto Meter for more accurate eye refraction.
Based on the readings of the special equipment, clients are offered appropriate corrective eyeglasses at affordable prices. Those who were diagnosed with eye conditions like Glaucoma and Cataract were encouraged to see medical specialists.
“Our gift of sight should never be taken for granted as it is one of the senses which help us navigate through our day-to-day activities. It is essential that we have our eyes checked regularly.” Mayor Jun Bernabe said.
The local chief executive thanked ACEBEDO Optical its service to the public through its free eye examinations.
