Ooo-kay…so just a few weeks after the barangay elections and we get this message from one of our Facebook friends:
“just want you guys to hear my complain… i’ve just called to barangay PUTATAN (MUNTINLUPA) police to report our neighbor… ang iingay kasi lagi my nakaistambay at inuman hanggang madaling araw.. its ok lang naman sa amin kung minsan lang.. but the sad thing is… straight na 4 days laging ganun.. then yung mga motor ang iingay my aalis, dadating, alis dating….
so tumawag ako sa brgy. para puntahan nila at sawayin… ang sagot ba naman sa akin ng barangay eh” SIR WALA PO KASING GAS YUNG LAHAT NG MOBILE NAMIN EH, KUNG GUSTO NYO PO ABONOHAN NYO MUNA PARA MAPUNTAHAN NAMIN” sabi ko naman “BKIT WALA BA KAYONG PONDO SA GAS?” ang sagot” MERON NAMAN DAW KASO SARADO NA DAW YUNG PINAG PAPA GASAN NILA which is yung sa my SHELL BAYANAN… sabi din nila ” OBSERVE NYO NA LANG SIR KUNG BUKAS GANUN PA DIN, BAKA PUNTAHAN NA NAMIN”
for me sobrang nakakahiya naman ang mga official ng barangay putatan.. what if kung my emergency.. ganun pa din ang isasagot nila… Hope ALABANG BULLETIN will read this message and inform it to the public..”
So, what’s wrong with this picture?
Yeah, what if it was an emergency? What would they have done? Don’t they have a reimbursement system there? Or are they just plain lazy?
We would like to hear their side about this story but for us it seems pretty clear what’s wrong here.
