Las Pinas students win at National Schools Press Conference 2018

Mayor Mel Aguilar commended the campus journalists from Las Piñas City public elementary and high school who were proclaimed winners in the recently concluded 2018 National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) sponsored by the Department of Education (DepEd). The winners were the following: Deniella Mabansag (1st Place – Column Writing) from Moonwalk Elementay School- Golden Acres Annex; Sofia Urielle Riñon (1st Place – Science and Technology), Rona Carmi Padua (1st Place – Pagsulat ng Kolum), Vanessa Kate Manzano ( 2nd Place – Feature Writing), and Alieah Grace Rabacal (4th Place – Pagsulat ng Lathalain) from Las Piñas Science High School; and Leonard Jan Nogoy and Steven Carl Rabe (3rd Place Technolympics – Automotive Servicing) from CAA Senior High School. Joemar Furigay received the award as the outstanding school paper adviser for high school. With the winners during their courtesy call at the City Hall were Dr. Loreta Torrecampo (Schools Division Superintendent) and Violeta Gonzales (Asst. Superintendent).
