Fresnedi donates five patrol mobiles to PNP, local security force

Muntinlupa Mayor Jaime Fresnedi led the turn-over ceremony of five patrol mobiles to the local Public Order and Safety Office and Muntinlupa City Police Station last October 8.

During the city’s flag raising ceremony, Fresnedi turned over two patrol vehicles to MCPS Acting Chief of Police PSSUPT Gerardo Umayao and three patrol vehicles to POSO chief Col. Florocito Ragudo (Ret).

Fresnedi ordered the Muntinlupa Police and local security force to beef up operations, rounds of inspection, and in maintaining order in the city.

Recently, the Southern Police District (SPD) – District Advisory Council conferred a citation to the local exec for his support to the local PD in its programs towards the realization of the Performance Governance System (Patrol Plan 2030).

SPD- District Advisory Council chair Rose de Lara awarded the citation to Fresnedi last October 5 together with other SPD officials. Lara also lauded the construction of Muntinlupa City Police Station HQ in Brgy. Tunasan, provision of service vehicles, and scholarship program for police beneficiaries.

The Department of Interior and Local Government – NCR also adjudged Muntinlupa City as Rank 2 in the region’s Peace and Order Audit.

DILG-Muntinlupa director Bing Ferino said the city qualified as Rank 2 among 17 LGUs in NCR because of its best practices on security management, programs on public safety, and strong implementation of ordinances on peace and order.
