“Motorists opting for longer parking hours during weekdays can proceed to Festival Mall Steel Parking. Rate is at Php 50.00 for the first 9 hours and succeeding hour is at Php 10.00,” said the two in their Facebook posts.

Netizens who saw the adjusted rates were happy about the grace period while some said it still is not enough.

The steel parking within the Festival Mall compound is located near Alabang-Zapote Road and by their Promenade (near Robinsons).

Many netizens had called for the boycott of both malls/establishments and maybe the management heard them, hence, the putting back of the grace period.

Happy? Not Happy?

Let us know.

Either way, uhm, thanks?

SM mall.has free.parking option…. maybe that is the reason why people preferred SM than any other mall..

We got ripped off by the Westgate Centre parking attendant, who failed to give us a ticket (there was a distraction by someone outside and I asked her if she had given me a ticket, she said “yes”), and then charged us a maximum penalty (plus parking) when we attempted to leave 5 mins later (no ticket). I hadn’t even left the car. It’s the “rules”, our “orders”, they said. Cost us P340 for 5 mins! We have been regular visitors there, as local residents, having spent thousand of dollars in the shops etc over the years. We will not visit Westgate Centre again, there are lots of other good shopping centres and restaurants in the area, where we have never encountered such bad behaviour by the parking attendants and guards.
