Anti-Rabies Campaign in Paranaque

On orders of P’que City Mayor Florencio Bernabe, Jr., the Special Services Office under Mr. Dean Calleja and the City Agriculture Division headed by Fe Ferolino continue with their anti-rabies vaccination campaign in the different barangays in the city on a year-round basis.

Citizens are urged to have their pet dogs inoculated yearly especially that the vaccination is free being a public service.

More than that, Rabies, a deadly disease in dogs can be transmitted to humans through bites, scratches or licks by an infected animal, hence the need for these pets to be immunized.

The Bureau of Animal Industry-Dept. of Agriculture makes an allocation of vaccines for the city as the Parañaque Local Government Unit provides a counterpart supply.
