Another Basag Kotse incident in BF Resort last week; Victim loses several gadgets and bag

It only takes 10 minutes.

This is how quickly your car window can be smashed and broken into and your precious possessions stolen.

This was the bitter fate that another southie suffered last May 24 inside BF Resort Village in Las Pinas when she parked along Gloria Diaz St. just to do some errands.

The incident occured around 8pm.

The victim was going to pick up a dress from a shop along Gloria Diaz but had to park in front of a pet grooming salon because there was no parking available in front of the shop she was going to.

“This happened in just a span of 10 to 15 minutes,” the victim said.

She lost two iPads, one mobile phone, her purse with her cards inside it, including her driver’s license.

She also noted that there was another person in the police station reporting a similar incident to hers so there may have been another Basag Kotse incident within the vicinity the same night.

The police and the victim tried tracking the mobile phone and saw the thieves moving from Tambo in Paranaque to Roxas Blvd. then Malate then they stopped in Marikina.

“The next day, they were tracked at a computer shop in Marikina. The last time we were able to track them was in Greenhills,” said the victim in an interview with Alabang Bulletin.

10 to 15 minutes, guys.

Let that sink in again.

“Let this serve as a warning to everyone. Never ever leave any valuable things inside your car,” called out the victim.
