MANILA, Philippines – Two Chinese were arrested and 46 kilograms of shabu – with a street value of around P230 million – were confiscated during a drug bust in Las Piñas City yesterday morning.

Jang Wei Chung, 30, alias Arias Chen; and Yaya Zheng, 26, were apprehended as they sold two kilos of shabu to an undercover operative of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Pamplona II, PDEA director general Arturo Cacdac Jr. said.

Derrick Arnold Carreon, PDEA spokesman, said PDEA agents also seized a Mitsubishi Montero the suspects drove.

The undercover agent transacted with the two suspects in the Montero, he said.

During the search of the Montero, PDEA agents also found more shabu in four duffle bags, Carreon said.
