From tempo.com.ph:

The Las Piñas City government continues to produce more productive youths as 1,054 students will graduate from various vocational and technical courses at the Las Pinas Manpower Training Center this month.

According to Mayor Vergel Aguilar, the graduates are from Batch 127 who attended daily classes from July to September.

Aguilar expressed confidence that the graduates who enjoyed free training will find gainful employment or start their own home-based or backyard business.

He also said that the graduates also have the opportunity to apply for work abroad.

The mayor said that many industries are already on the lookout and offering employment to graduates with special technical vocational skills.

Aguilar said that the manpower training center offers automotive servicing, commercial cooking, consumer electronics, food and beverages services, hairdressing, massage therapy, personal computer operations, refrigeration and aircon servicing, shielded metal arc welding, industrial electricity, cellphone repair, housekeeping, and travel services.

The center was awarded by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) as one of the Most Outstanding Skills Training Center in the country. (Jean Fernando)
